Lets start work
Today we have to official start work ...initially I thought will be in Virtusa Westborough office , but our PM told that will be working at client site. We have to go to client site by 8.30AM ...hmmmm...it's not like ...SL ...no one to make me morning tea and breakfast. Had some orange juice and made instant maggi for breakfast.
The PM bought our car.... what a suprise this car is too good for us...it's a Pontiac Grand Prix Turbo ....wow !!!!!!!!!!!.........we got a posh car. Still not familiar with the roads, we followed PM's vehicle until clients place at Billerica.
We got warm welcome from the General Manager....she guided us to our working area.I can't remember how many people she introduced to us Americans, Indians, British and Chinese /Japanese ...ohhh this is real multinational.
This is the first day so we are given a Team lunch by our Program Manager. We went to an Italian Restaurant named 'Naked Fish'. It was so nice inside the restaurant all Italian style. Got the menu...don't know what to order...these dish names are Greek to me. Looked for my key word 'Fish' ohhh there it is Grilled Fish Salad ...I asked one of my colleague is this salad enough ? Hmm...lets see ...machan order some side dish also ...ordered some rice with beans.
All eight team members sitting in a round table ...waiter comes and serves one by one ...my dish is missing ....here we go....The Greate Grilled Fish Salad ...it's huge 3 people can have it...ohh my god what i have ordered ...then the sides...a odd look from all teams mates .... rify we have a meeting after the lunch ....ddddddddddddddddddd... my collegue next to me who gave me brilliant idea is laughing ...i was so embarrassed. What to do, eat the salad much as i can and got up.
